ccording to the available information, Shalini was bitten by a snake near a gas cylinder kept inside the house. She was immediately taken to a private hospital in Anchal, where she sought treatment following the incident.

After some time, Shalini developed health problems again at home. She was subsequently taken to the hospital in Anchal once more and received medication.

Her physical condition worsened on Wednesday. Following the increase in her health problems, she was admitted to a private medical college in Venjaramoodu. She was later shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
